For Editors

Science International (SI) is a digital publishing platform of open access journals based in Dubai, UAE. The sole mission of SI is to foster the exchange of open research & scholarly information across all disciplines.

Currently, Science International is a member of world’s reputed organizations like, Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), Asian Council of Science Editors (ACSE), LiveDNA, ALPSP, CrossRef, Academy of Excellence in Biosciences (AEB), and PORTICO.

By signing up to COPE, Science International confirms that we adhere to the COPE Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors and follows the COPE & ACSE guidelines when dealing with issues surrounding publication ethics and research misconduct.

SI operates with a team of dedicated in-house and external editors, who play a key role to advance discovery by contributing their time and efforts to build a well engaged network of authors and peer-reviewers. The editors also help authors to improve their manuscripts, advocate for SI journals, and sometimes deal with legal or research integrity issues.

Each journal of the Science International is managed and run by an independent and experienced international editorial board under the supervision of respective Editor-in-Chief. The role of an Editor-in-Chief is varied, but their core purpose is to be a champion for their discipline and a custodian of the scientific record in order to ensure the success of the journal for their community.

Science International supports all of its journals by providing a dedicated, highly engaged, and active team of in-house editors, who strives to:

  • Ensure swift and timely flow of manuscript through the editorial process
  • Respond to manuscript invitations
  • Provide technical assistance & timely guidance to assure seamless communication
  • Present regular reports to the Managing Editor
  • Support the Editor-in-Chief and Managing Editor
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders

Editorial board meetings (Virtual)
Understanding the importance of active editorial board, each Science International journal organizes a virtual meeting at least once a year to minimize communication gap and brief on issues, take questions, and gain ideas/feedback for policies and upcoming journal editions. We strongly believe that meeting with the board members is a keyway of networking and strengthening the relationship with the editorial board.
